Hi, I have nerve pain in my right leg and foot and I tell you nothing worked until I tried Lyrica that worked like a charm, within 20 minutes (okay maybe that is in my head) the pain is gone.  It's weird I can still feel everything but it seems to be underneath and doesn't hurt I don't know how to explain it but it works. I don't know if you are a candidate for Lyrica with your other problems but ask your doc.  I was also using a TENS unit and that worked great for the pain it would take it away for about 48 hours.  I have a spinal cord tumor that is crushing the nerves in my legs and will eventually take the use of them.  The TENS unit worked great until about three weeks ago when my right leg just gave out and I couldn't feel it or move it, luckily it was transient and the feeling came back now though the burning,pins and needles actually mine feels like my leg is sitting on an electric fence is all up and down my leg and for some reason the TENS unit doesn't work anymore.  But those are my ideas I hope they help.
