If you got the OxyContin from a legitimate pharmacy, ask the pharmacist to verify that it is extended-release oxycodone. If you got it from some other source, I would have no way of knowing. Getting OxyContin from any source other than a reputable pharmacy is extremely risky because you have no way of knowing what is actually in the pill.
