i have pain on sl joint,i done mri & the remark was that - 1. A BILATERAL EROSIVE SACROILITIS IS SEEN, SUGGESTIVE OF A BILATERAL INFLAMMATORY SACROILITIS,CONSISTENT WITH THE PATTERN SEEN IN SERONEGATIVE SPONDYLOARTHROPATHIES. 2.THE SCREENING STUDY THROUGH THE SPINE SHOWS BILATERAL L5 SPONDYLOLYSIS, WITH GRADE 1 SPONDYLOLISTHESIS OF L5 OVER S1. i want to know what is treatment for it & do i really HLA-B27 positive?
Sacroilitis is an inflammation of either just one or both of the joints that connect your lower spine to your pelvis. Treatment for Sacroilitis could include, Anti-Inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), Corticosteroids, Anti rheumatic drugs, and physical therapy. Spondyloarthropathies are inflammatory joint diseases of the vertebral column. As far as the HLA B27 positive question.... you need to speak to your Doctor about that.
