Well, your description is a tad on the vague side however, since nobody has given you a starting place, let me offer some POTENTIAL ideas. Most importantly - See your doctor! Check for: 1) Carpal Tunnel - uncertain about what testing is involved for this 2) Diabetic Neuropathy - A1c Testing is a start (blood test) 3) [Rheumatoid] Arthritis (I think that is the kind) 4) Cervical Nerve Impingement (Usually originates in the nerve trunk around C6 or C7 I believe). Most likely requires an MRI or other testing. Usually not invasive.   I want to reiterate the importance of always seeking a professional evaluation. I appreciate the Chronic Pain site and the forum they offer. People like myself on this site are often patients and have all been through similar issues. We may be familiar with something that sounds similar to our own conditions. But that said, it in no way makes us an authority, much less a final authority.   In your case, pain in the hands should not be ignored. It truly could be a serious condition that could worsen depending on what the root cause is. Sometimes, that cannot be healed - just kept from getting worse. Don't put off your visit to the doc. Hope this helps! Regards...
