I am 60 years old woman that a month ago when sleeping and dreaming that I was falling off a cliff I started kicking with force trying to grasp a tweed along this hill...to then realizeing that my bed was actually falling to the left side upon awakening.  But when I stood up, the pain started....I couldn't walk.  In the beginning, the pain radiated all the way to the upper part of my left foot, to the hip, the lower back, and to the outer side part of the knee.   Went to a Chiropractor who aligned my back twice and then to a massage therapist who worked on my muscles surrounding the knee with trigger point therapy.  This was effective in taking the pain off my foot and lateral pains....but now the pain is on the inner part of the knee radiating to the back of same.  Do you think I have damaged a ligament or one of the miniscus?

No one can diagnose you online, nor would it be legal to do so.  Only a doctor who can examine you and run any needed diagnostic tests would be able to tell you what is wrong.  Please see your doctor soon so you don't risk any further damage to your knee.
