Q: Any hints on helping with the fatigue - I am already on provigil...?

I have tried Adderal and Ritalin, but they raised my anxiety level and had to stop them.

I am on Provigil.  Helps some, but still so tired and exhausted every day.  I am going for a sleep study soon.  Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions..

The sleep study is an excellent idea. Alot of fatigue and pain can be caused by poor sleep and good sleep hygiene and sleep medications.

For some more possibilities on treatments and medications that have been helpful in some you might want to check out my website on energy alternatives and energy enhancing drugs - most of which you've tried.

Another way some people increase their energy levels is by staying within ones 'energy envelope' and slowing increasing it. Check out Bruce Campbells site for more on this.

Good luck!

I too have sarcoidosis, fibromyalgia, and CFS for 15 years. Fatigue is part of the disease. I am exhausted all the time. Nothing helps. I too have tried provigil, ritalin, and they just made me anxious as well. Even sleeping to my hearts content doesn't make it better once I am awake. I went for a sleep study and it came back fine. it is a terrible way to live.  Good Luck!  Theresa

I find higher amounts of lean protein and leafy green vegetables help, most of the time, carbohydrates make me sleepy but I seem to crave them during periods of severe fatigue. A local pharmacist here, makes a compound of magnesium and zinc...try increasing them in your diet . I truly hope this helps.Innocent
