Q: can anyone recommend a successful nerve pain medication?

My partner suffers from severe, chronic nerve pain in his neck and down the right side of his body. After being on oxycontin and oxynorm for a period of up to 4yrs, they are having little effect. A couple of months ago he was prescribed Lyrica capsules to treat the pain which are having very little effect also. I am looking for someone who suffers from nerve pain that is chronic and who is taking medication that is actually making a difference to there condition. The nerve pain he has prevents him from doing the simplest things such as being a passenger in a car or driving a car, reading a magazine even hurts.

I can speak for any one of these: Neourontin, Lexapro, valium, elavil, celexa ...I have tried these each...the list actually keeps going.  I am going through some of these for one reason or another..I have a very high tolerance to stuff.
