hi, sorry to hear about yopur partners pain. You may already have your answers, your message was posted long ago.   I ahve spent 15 years inadequately medicated, and 5 years properly medicated.   Personally, I found that the lyrica was more efficient than the oxycodone and oxynorm. However, having weaned myself off the oxy' moderate release, I use the oxynorm 5mg up to 5 times per day, when needed, and increased the lyrica up to 300mg.  Iam currently on 600 mg of lyrica, use oxynorm only in a crisis, and have jjjust been prescribed a new drug, still an opiate, but not quite as mind bending as oxynorm.
