Many different things can cause abdominal pain and abdominal pain is not uncommon. You  may be worried about appendicitis.  Appendicitis pain is in that general area (starting around belly button and moving to lower right side of the abdomen). If you also experience nausea, vomiting fever, loss of appetite, diarrhea or other severe symptoms like this be sure to see a doctor quickly.

You might want to try to Check a Symptom box found in the upper left-hand corner of many Health Central pages. That will help  walk you through your symptoms and give you some idea of what's going on. Good  luck!
