Trezix has dihydrocodeine and acetaminophen. Lortab has hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Hydrocodone is derived from thebaine and codeine. Dibydrocodeine is derived from codeine and is a strong cough suppressant. Both are strong pain relievers. The only difference you might is if you just happen to respond to one better than the other.
