Can amoxicillin cure a yeast infection?
No, Amoxicillin would not be a good idea. I am not a doctor and can't diagnose you, but antibiotics can often have the opposite effect of triggering yeast infections. There are over-the-counter products you can get to treat a yeast infection, such as Monistat and Gyne-Lotrimin. I believe they also have generic versions of these available, too.
Best of luck!

How to Treat Recurrent Vaginal Yeast Infection
no, in fact amoxycillin can cause a yeast infection, as can any anti-biotic.Yeast infections happen when the balance between bacteria and acids becomes off kiltered. anti-biotics kill all bacteria including the good bacteria which allows the natural acids to cause burning and itching. a way to avoid this is by taking a pro biotic anytime you need to take an anti-biotic, also eating yoghurt or dipping a tampon in plain yoghurt and using it also works.
