Thursday, June 18, 2009 Tara asks

Q: My question is how do I disipate a constant red, bumpy rash on my daughters face, due to dermagraphism

she gets red and itchy from rolling in grass

been tested for allergies all are negative

if she scratches she welts up

currently the rash is being treated with hydrocortisone, which does not help the rash to disipate.

I give her 24 hour reactine everyday, followed up by triaminic if needed through out the day.

she is only 4 years old, please help a mom help her child

I'm afriad I don't know anything about dermagraphism. I do know there is a website on it - which you're probably aware of - but I'll pass it on anyway. http://www.dermographism.com/Dermographism/Dermographism.com.html It does have a discussion forum - maybe you can find some tips there.
