I HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH VICODIN, IT'S LONG TERM USE, AND RLS.  I HAVE USED VICODIN FOR 7 YEARS FOR CHRONIC PAIN. MY DOCTOR HAS AN ODD SENSE OF HUMOR SO TRIES TO TAKE ME OFF OF IT EVERY FEW MONTHS.  WHEN SHE DOES, I HAVE ALL OF THE CLASSIC WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS.  100% OF THE TIME I ALSO DEVELOP RLS, WHICH GOES AWAY 100% OF THE TIME WHEN I AM PUT BACK ON THE VICODIN.  NOT SURE IF THAT HELPS, BUT THERE DEFINITELY IS SOME KIND OF A CONNECTION.
