Hi Wilma Bernstein,

While online sites like Health Central are great for getting information, they can not take the place of a doctor's advice and care. It sounds like you could have bruised bones in the fall or you could have broken something. This can not be fixed without the help of a doctor. Hip problems are not something to be taken lightly!

I know it seems like you can not see a doctor because you have no insurance, but there is probably a program at the hospital that will work with you. Most hospitals can not turn you away because of your inability to pay.

Please check it out and let us know how you are doing!

HELLO,

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.  I WENT TO MY SPINE SPECIALIST AND THE NERVES FROME MY SPINE WERE INFLAMED AND BEING PINCHED.   I WAS SENT TO A PAIN SPECIALIST WHO IS AN ANESTESOLIGIST AND HAD A PROCEEDURE DONE WHERE HE BURNED THE NERVES USING NEEDLES INSERTED INTO THE NERVES BLOCKING THE PAIN.  IT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ABOUT A WEEK BUT THEN THE PAIN STOPPED.  IT IS SUPPOSE TO LAST FOR ABOUT A YEAR OR UNTIL THE NERVES REGENERATE.  IT WAS WORTH IT.
