Establishing a relationship with any doctor takes time, trust does not come overnight. But, I am sure that this doctor has a network of referring doctors which is like his circle of trust. The best bet is to talk with your primary doctor who referred you. The two doctors can discuss your case and create some team work. Team work is the best way to remove the barriers which block the roadway towards solutions.   If you don't have a regular doctor, maybe you have another health professional, like a physical therapist, who can express concern on your behalf.   Find some advocates and create a comfort zone for your new relationship.   Dr. Christina Lasich, MD
