Q: What causes a burning sensation in lower leg?

I was struck by a car as a pedestrian and the lower side of my leg has a burning sensation that hurts and is worse when sitting or lying. What can cause this?

Normally if there is a burning pain it is nerve related. Wish I could help you more.

I have terrible nerve pain in my left leg and feet. Neurotin does help me some, Lyrica

not so much just made me gain weight.
