I have be eating a vegan diet for about six months now.  I am not strictly vegan, and will have meat occasionally.  I made a pork dish for my family two nights ago and felt very achy yesterday.  Today I feel fine.  I have not had that reaction to eating beef or poultry. I have been dairy free for over 15 years (dairy gave me IBS symptons, primarily severe constipation) and gluten free for over 3 years (my achy joints disappeared after that).  I have experience fibromyalgia symptons and mild depression last year and found I was deficient in Vitamin D.  My doctor gave me a prescription for a high dose of vitamin D which put my levels back to a normal range over time.  I also bought a "happy lamp" which gives light therapy for people during the winter months.  I feel very healthy & I look healthy.  I believe a vegan or mostly plant based diet can make most people feel & look their best.  If you decide to eat a vegan diet, be sure to take vitamin B12 supplements as it is only found in meat.  I recently experience a "burnt tongue" feeling which was resolved by taking vitamin B12 supplements...  Try a vegan diet, it may take away your fibromyalgia symptons.  Going gluten free should help as well.  It's a big change in lifestyle, but if it makes you feel good (eliminate aches & digestive issues) it is so worth it!
