Hidradenitis suppurtiva is one of those unfortunate 'orphan diseases' which doesn't strike enough people to get much research funding but can cause alot of problems for those who do have it. There doesn't seem to be a set treatment for this disease; the Mayo Clinic - always a good source - suggests antibiotics, oral retinoid medicationsl, NSAIDS to reduce the inflammation and corticosteroids or immunosuppressants to turn down the immune system. (Hidradentis is believed to probably be an autoimmune disorder.) They also suggest zinc gluconate and some things you can do at home   (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hidradenitis-suppurativa/DS00818)   There is a Hidradenitis Suppurtiva Foundation. Supporting them might be a good idea given the low funding this disease recieves.    Good luck!
