Q: does methadone cause mood swing?

I was wondering if methadone gives someone mood swings?

Methadone can cause alot of different side effects one of which is mood swings. The mood swings can range from euphoria (extreme happiness) to dysphoria (feeling down and low). You can check out all methodones side effects below.

yes very much so, i was  on 60 ml of a methadone a day, when i came of the heroin in 2001, so i know from experience, you probably also know apart from the mood swings, you can also get bone ache etc.. i was put into jail witch in 2001 did not have a detox programme, so i had to do a detox of methadone after 8 months of evrey day use, was not very nice, but i got through it, i have relapsed for heroin, but have never touched the meth again, so its a YES on the mood swings hope that helps
