My doctor has me on 15mg immediate release mophine sulfate. When she refilled the prescription I found out fromt he pharmacy that they no longer make this mg and the 30mg is back ordered for who knows how long.

Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know why they stopped making it?

I ran into this problem a couple of times. The first time the pharmaceutical firm stopped making the product. The second time there was a backlog due to recall. I also suffer from having olny a small pharmacy locally from which to purchase my drugs and many times the pharmacy is out of the product I need.

I am sorry that you also experienced the inconvience, anxiety and pain caused by the rarity of firms who manufacture these pain killing drugs.
