I only have a few bad days a few months apart now, after years of trying everything...here's my advice: Check your HORMONES! Most of the symptoms ALL of you describe look like low estrogen. the medical field has not caught up with complex female anatomy-because its mostly MALE DRIVEN. Do your own research, insist on whatever testing is available. Don't let them toss BIRTH CONTROL pills at you, or pharmaceutical HRT. Replenish your missing hormones with pure estrogen or pure progesterone, or one of the precursors. Get help outside the box of Western Medicine. get a consult from a compounding pharmacy, or someone who works with one. Eat whole foods- refined and processed foods will cause inflammation(I know, that's what you crave when you feel crummy, but do it anyway)-look at gluten free, dairy free, other options, and figure out what YOUR body is inflamed by. As we get older, allergies and intolerances to foods show up. Don't assume just because you used to be able to eat something means it isn't harming you now.   Don't take the pain pills, they create the very pain profile you are trying to treat, and add fatigue and depression onto your list. Doctors give you that stuff to get you out of their office, they have nothing else to offer.   Of course lose the weight and exercise. But if all you can do for now is lay on the couch, then do so with whole foods and no pills, and try some progesterone or estrogen from a compounding pharmacy. Sorry, I wish our advanced american society knew more about women's health, but it is failing us. it's up to us to find the answers for ourselves and each other.
