They are similar but different. Lorcet contain 10 mgs of hydrocodone and percocet contains 10 mgs of oxycodone. The Lorcet has about double the acetaminophen. Both are codeine-like narcotics. Both have the potential for substance abuse but oxycodone's potential is higher. In general oxycodone is purported to be a bit stronger than hydrocodone but some people do better on hydrocodone. In part it depends on your chemical workup which is stronger; ie. which works better for you.

Thank you...I am on 10/325 perc but heard lorcet was like stronger perc but if like vicodin then i'll stay on my scripts...vicodin do not help me.
