I have has two back surgeries and have not been able to get any relief with my morphine. I take morphine 115mg, two times a day, and morphine 15mg, three times a day, and I still can't get relief. I am thinking of having a pain pump installed.

Is this the trial you're thinking of? Its not for back pain per se but it is for people who are tolerant to morphine. It appears you fit the parameters - they require people to take at least 60 mg of morphine a day - you're taking over four times that amount. It uses Fentanyl buccal tablets in combination with oxycodone. Have you tried them?

The contact number for Cephalon is in the middle of the page.

You can get Fentanyl buccal without being in a trial. Heres some information on it.
