    Can Bad Knee Cause Hip Pain?

    I keft knee pad is gone and the right is close behind. I start to walk and sometimes look drunk after rising til I get balanced. If I walk any distance like grocery, into store, whatever I start to have severe pain in my hips and I know my hips are ok from mri's. Feels ok after I sit down. I waddle like a duck. READ MORE

    I don't know the answer to this. It certainly sounds like the instability in your walking motion could impact your hips to some degree and I hope you can find an answer to this.

     

    It is important to get exercise to keep your muscles and joints as strong as possble. Have you thought of doing non-weight bearing exercise such as swiming or pool walking to keep up your fitness?
