I'm so sorry I didn't answer you earlier, but I just saw your question.  I hope by now you are feeling much better.  Hopefully you just had the flu or some kind of virus.  I know a fever can be uncomfortable and even scary, but it's actually the body's way of fighting infection.  As long as it doesn't go too high, it can be a good thing.  If it ever goes above 104, you need to call your doctor.   If you're still having these symptoms or if they've gotten worse or if you have additional symptoms, you absolutely need to see a doctor.  If money is an issue, check with your local Health Dept.  They will usually provide treatment either free or at a significantly reduced cost – particularly for children.
