Over the counter sleep-aid medications are fine to take with Vicodin as long as you are not taking more than 4000 mg of Tylenol in a 24 hour period of time. Too much Tylenol can kill your liver, so keep track of the amounts. One Vicodin (5/500) pill has 500 mg of Tylenol. If you are near the limit of Tylenol, you can try Benadryl for sleep.
