Q: Does Boiling Your Toothbrush Get Rid Of The Strep Virus?

Strep is not a virus but a bacterial infection.  I haven't been able to find anything that definitively says boiling a toothbrush will kill strep, but several people have reported that boiling a toothbrush will distort the bristles. 


Your best bet is just to buy a new toothbrush.  They're not expensive and most experts recommend that you replace your toothbrush every two to three months anyway.
