can surgery anathesia break the cycle of pain in fibromyalgia

I have severe fibromyalgia for years and 3 times I have had surgery with anethesia, ALL the pain and fatigue was gone for at least 2 to 3 months. Could anethesia break the cycle of the nerves that cause this pain. Then I would wake up one morning and it was all back. But this...
