I am given pain medication to take as needed but don't always need it so I don't always take it.  I don't want them to take me off of it because there was times that I do need it.  I have stage 4 lung cancer....also in my femur.  Why are they making me do urine test....I go there for his help not to be monitored like a child....

Thank you for your post. The best thing to do would be to ask your doctor why they are doing a urine test and explain to your doctor how you use your medications.
