You didn't mention the source of your pain in your question, but you used the tag "migriane," so I'm going to address this as a Migraine issue.
Why don't you want to do Botox injections? Did you discuss your resons with your doctor? There is quite a lot of evidence that Botox injections are effective for Migraine prevention for some people. Like everything else, Botox isn't effective for everyone, but may well be worth a try. Migraine is a genetic neurological disease, and for some of us, it's not easy to treat. If you feel you're not making progress, consider seeing an actual Migraine specialist.
