Q: which is stronger Norco 10/325 or vicodin 5/500

Well it depends on what you are looking for and what works best for you as to what is better. But as far as what is stronger,  Norco is the purest official way to take Vicodin. The main difference between the two is this: Norco has 10mg of hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen...therefore a higher ratio of hydrocodone to acetaminophen. The Vicodin 5/500 has 5mg hydrocodone and 500mg of acetaminophen. I personally take Norco for my fibromyalgia for two reasons. One, of course, being that the hydrocodone is the highest amount; and two because too much acetaminophen makes me sick. I used to throw up (excuse the bluntness) every day at least 2-4 times. Since I started taking the Norco, I hardly ever get sick at all. I hope this has helped! Laughing  Sincerely, smalltrout
