    It shouldn't show up in urine after 24 hours or so, although it will show up in blood for much longer.  If you take your prescription with you to the drug test and tell them about it ahead of time, there shouldn't be any problem.  For more information about employment-related drug screenings, read: "Passing" Those Drug Screenings

     

    If you stopped taking it awhile ago, it shouldn't have shown up.  The best I can suggest is to explain the situation to your employer and show them your prescription bottle if you still have it – or get a copy of your prescription from your pharmacy or doctor to verify that it was a legitimate prescription.

      My Dr. Gave me enough 15mg ms contin (ex release) for 30 days when i had 33 days in between appts, therefore leaving me 3 days short of the medicine. Even so he gave me a drug test that said i had no ms contin in my system. My pharmacist said it would be out rt away too but my Dr is acting like it should be there. I know I took it the days I had it - but I was 3 days short. How do I find/where do I find info to tell him he's wrong?? READ MORE

      Have your Pharmacist fax him a note stating that any opiate medication only stays in your system 3days that's what i had to Do Doc's don't know as much as they think either thhat are they just wanna cut u off because of the very strick Regulations of DHEC and the DEA now!! READ MORE

      All Opiates only stay in your system 3days at the longest I've been on opiates for 20years now so not bragging but i know a good deal about them their just like Coke R meth 3days is the longest in your pee! now your hair are Blood it could be n your system 30 sre more days expectily the Hair Test READ MORE
