If the burning pain is in the foot that received surgery and it began after the surgery, there is most likely a connection. Talk to your surgeon or the doctor who referred you for surgery and ask if there was anything about the surgery that could cause the pain you are experiencing. (Sometimes an injury or damage to a nerve can cause a burning pain, but it could also be something entirely different.) Hopefully, they can suggest something to help relieve the pain while your foot continues to heal. Karen
