Q: What causes spleen pain

have had moderate pain in the area of my spleen for a couple of years. At one point the lymph nods in my left arm pit where swollen for several months. they are normal now but still have mild pain constantly. Dr has done xray, ultrasound, bloodwork. Dr wants to treat me for high colesteral, thinks my pain is rib pain even though i have told him it is not my rib but inside my chest. I have PAD and am starting to have pain in my left arm quite often. I think my Dr. thinks i am crazy.
