There is no cost to use this service. First it's important to determine where the hip pain is coming from. Hip pain can be caused by lower back problems, which, in turn can cause pain coursing down the leg. This is commonly known as sciatica and you often notice pain down the back of the leg sometimes all the way into the foot. On the other hand hip pain can be caused by problems with the hip itself such as arthritis, damage to the bone, etc. You might want to use the Check a Symptom program on Health Central to learn more but you'll have to see a doctor to figure out what's going on. Good luck!    http://www.healthcentral.com/symptom-checker/select.html?ic=506014
