Question I should ask the Doctors?
I had a fusion in my neck about a year ago and now I am having strok and seizure like blackouts and my blood pleasure goes down to 60/40 and I sweat but feel very cold. I have been taken to the ER X2 in the past 3 weeks. No one seems to know what is going on. I had a CAT scan and an MRI and nothing showed. After about 30 minutes I start to feel better. It starts with a pain in my neck and then goes into my head, on one side or the other. I have had dizzy spells nothing like these two spells.
How do I get my doctors to hear me and help me?
I was having the same symptoms almost and it turned out I was having light strokes. You'd better be insisting he checks you for that.

You don't say whether you've seen your personal doctor or just the ER doctors. If you haven't seen your own doctor, I'd start there. If you have and he's not pursuing the cause of your symptoms, I'd suggest seeing a neurologist as soon as possible. The symptoms you describe need to be taken seriously. Don't be shy about asking questions and insisting that your doctor either find out what is causing your symptoms or refer you to someone who can.

i would recommend your go to your regular doctor and get a good physical to determine the cause(s) of your problem. The first thought that crossed my mind was low blood sugar. Get a good physical to start the ball rolling. This could be a couple of health problems that are interacting and presently confusing and conflicting symptoms.

I am not a doctor but have they investigated your blood vessels around the fusion site? Fusions do fail and when they do they leave behind what they call "artifacts". Is it possible that one of these artifacts is moving around as you move your neck?
