Prescribed Fentanyl 25 patch, Norco 10-325, and the one I'm really not familiar about is Neurontin(Gabapentin 300 mg), any help in explaining the patch and especially the Neurontin, would be greatly appreciated. Drs can explain but I need feedback from someone who has experienced it! Thanks.

Every medicine you mentioned they put me on. Have you tried them yet? I have no problem with Norco 10-325. It works very well. Never got sick on it or anything. As far as the pain patch, Fentanyl did make me very ill. It might not do that to you. I hope  not. But I got stomach pains, throwing up, diahrea, and it made my brain feel like it was swelled, like when you have a broken foot of hand , and it swells up thats what my brain felt like. I loved the idea of wearing a patch for pain because its convenient but did not work for me. I did have friends in ct that had the patch and it worked really good for them. I was on the lowest dose. Everybody is different and I hope it works for you. Neurontin they tried that too but that made me feel worse than the patch.  I was seeing double. Did not where I was or what I was doing. I went to work with two different shoes on. I would fall asleep right where I stood or sat. I told the doctor and he tried a lower dose, and it still did the same. When I stopped taking it people noticed how much better I was. Back to my old self again.  Like I said, everybody is different and it might work for you. I hope it does. It did not help me at all with the pain. I dont want to scare you but I thought you should the kind of side effects those to meds had on me. I know that Neurontin is also perscribed for mental disabilities too. But they say now its used for pain also .  Good luck. Try to see if you can get a pill book at the drugstore. It has the pills and its meanings and doses . It tells you everything you want to know of every kind of medication there is. I had one back in ct. I gave it to my mom when she had cancer, so she could see what kinds of meds she was on. Good luck to you .

I have never tried the norco that I know of, but the patch I have, I never got anything from it, no refief, no dissyness, like I never put it on, even on the 3rd day.

The neurotin, Me, my sister and my mother all 3 were on this, it made my mother have to hold on to the walls to get to the bathroom, it makes me and my feel loopy. I have never been a drug user because of that feeling, I don't like not having all my senses intact, on the flip side my friend is taking it now, and she is like is this a baby asprin or what. so everyone is different. when u take it, make sure ur at home and have no reason to leave, to see how it reacts to u.

I have taken norco and it worked very well, made me abit ill to my stomach, but did a great job with pain.

I was on the patch for awhile and it worked very well for me, but it would never stick!  i tried everything short of duct tape and ended up having to switch back to an oral long lasting med.  I still take the neurontin, i assume it works.  i have had no problems with it and have been on it for months.  i can't say i have had a noticable relief, but at the same time i will keep taking it just in case it is helping.  would hate to find out hte hard way!
