DDD, 3 bulging discs, pinched nerve?

Trying to be positive, although can be rough sometimes. Just thankful...

I recently weened myself off 2mg Xanax, probably a little premature. A series of events have left me back in the "panic zone". Pain Dr. gave me 10mg of Valium, I was just wondering how close they were as far as effectiveness. Also had major flare-ups, and muscle spasms in lower back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

They are two different drugs with different actions even though they're in the same family. There is no equivalent dosage.

Best,

Jon

I have just started taking valium for chronic upper back pain and it seems to be working alright. This is the only medication that has helped me and keeps me awake enough to function.
