8/18/09 had an easy wisdom tooth removal. a week later woke up with tight jaw that turned in to the worse pain of my life. I've been to oral surgeon 4 times, 2 trips to the ER, my regular dentist, and then an ENT specialist. No one can or will help me with this pain. I have had bite wing xray, panoramic teeth xray, and a cat scan. Now.. my ora surg. will not give me any more pain meds after being on the now for 11 days. They don't even work and wear off fast. I have ear pain, tight jaw, jaw pain, temple pain, cheek pain, upper tooth pain. I am on 5mg percocet, 600 mg ib pro, 5mg valium. Where and who do I go to from here. Seems to not be something that can be "seen" so I feel I am not being taken seriously. I cry every night when the pain is at it's worse and pase the floors. At times I feel I can not deal with the pain one more second and could chop my head off... lack of better words. Using hot compresses to sooth the aches. My husband returns from overseas in the Military in three weeks. I fear I will not be able to enjoy out time together as eating hurts and I am in constant pain....constant. Please please please help me with some advise as to how to fix this and or get relief. I can not take it any mroe. I never hurt so bad in my life. Depression and sleep deprivation is taking over my life. I am scared!
