What's wrong with my left foot? It hurts sometimes and burns on the top right, like a vein has popped out or something. Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone?
You could have something called 'dorsal compression syndrome' which occurs when you're having arch problems. If your arch is 'collapsing' a bit this can tweak the upper part of the foot - compressing it - and causing pain. This is often treated by using orthotics that shore up your arch. It could be other things as well but you'll have to see your doctor to find out for sure what's going on.
Always remember to wear shoes that provide good support and are open enough that you're not compressing your feet. Poor footware is the number one cause of foot problems.
