Is it possible for the uterus to be not in the middle but to the left and attached to a bone?

a midwife lady told me that my uterus is on the left side and not in the middle where it should be and its enlarged. i never (til now) told her i hav blunt pain, but starts out shocking then blunt, in my left side of my uterus this mainly happens at the end of making love, just b4 finishing. i also (sometimes) feel there is a lump there in the same spot.i am 48 years old, Feb 08. ..six living children, 4 miscarages....i am over weight and cant seem to loose it, and i actually hav tried to eat breakfast and mothing else but water and green herbal teas. my circulation is not good (i think) my calves retain water very much and the rest of my body too... if i use a diuretic pill i can loose about 10 lbs in lessw than 2 days. i hav back pain when i stand too long, i can walk mostly but not stand in one place.

I'm not qualified to answer your question about the location of your uterus, but if you are having pain and feel like there may be a lump, you definitely need to see a doctor – preferably a gynocologist.

You mentioned that you've tried losing weight by eating only breakfast then drinking herbal tea for the rest of the day.  Actually, only eating one meal a day will make you more prone to gain weight.  When your body doesn't get food at regular intervals, it slows down your metabolism in an effort to conserve energy.  The slower your metabolism is the more easily you'll gain weight.  The best way to keep your metabolism at the right level is to eat small amounts of food several times a day.  Of course, avoiding sugar and eating more nutritious foods is essential, too.

I wish you the best.
