Still having pain 3 months after operation

3 months on from my op on the L5 S1 nerve i had yet another mri scan to make sure everthing had gone to plan with the op which  it  had and the diagnosis was scar tissue.3 months on and im seeing a chiropractor who manipulates it and then 3 days later the pain re-occurs is this normal…
