Both are a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen.  They're just different brand names.  Usually Norco has 325 mg of acetaminophen while Lortab has 500 mg.  The amount of hydrocodone depends on what was prescribed – it can be 5, 7.5 or 10 mg.
