Q: why does my upper/backside of right leg feel like its on fire? No pain but some numbness.

Those symptoms could indicate a condition called sciatica. Sciatica occurs when nerve  roots from your lower back gets pinched or gets pressed upon. Since these nerves control the functions of your lower body they often cause strange sensations occurring anywhere from the back of the thigh into the calves and feet. Burning sensations, numbness, tingling as well as pain are the kinds of sensations that are associated with problems with the nerves. Pain is usually associated with sciatica but not always.
