I am suffering from chronic pain..

my rotator cuff didn't have a tear, but I had bone spurs, and they were pinching a nerve...

that was all fixed and I still have pain in that area plus my upper back hurts..

this was due to a rear end accident 10 months ago....

Im afraid of people saying that I am faking ...... I dont wanna have to shove something up someones.... never mind

 whats your opinion??

With regard to the accuracy of MRI's check out the below article from the New York Times.  It turns out that MRI's aren't always as accurate as one might wish. Depending on how old the MRI machine is and who interprets the scan, etc. you can, unfortunately, have very variable results. The article describes several people who's first MRI didn't pick up anything. Is there any way you can get a second opinion - hopefully at a different clinic?
