what is CGS

I was interviewing a client who said she was injured at work and later was diagnosed with GDS. Client said she has chronic pain and impaired physical functioning. Client was not able to say what GDS was. Any ideas?s

The only things I could find medically that use the GDS acronym are a couple of diagnostic tools: Geriatric Depression Scale and Global Deterioration Scale (used for assessing degenerative dementia and Alzheimer's). Is it possible your client misunderstood the diagnosis or got the wrong letters?
