Q: my lower back is now shockingly painful.

Not when I bend over but when I try to stand back up! WTH?  It's like I bend down to pick up a pencil and as I try to stand back up I swear someone just stabbed me and I freeze.  I usually have to sit down, then correct my back, then stand back up.  This just started and is horrible pain.  Any thioughts?

Have you ever tried a chiropractor? Maybe a good adjustment will help. Some times verterbral subluxations can be very painful.Good luck! : )

Maybe you have a pinched nerve somewhere in your back. Maybe your discs are pinching your nerve root. I do go through that too. Sometimes I have to rub my back on a door frame to try to get that nerve to get out of the area that it is being pinched at. It happens all the time also in my shoulder blades.  It is really , really painfull. Let me know how you are doing. Hope you feel better.
