I don't have the answer--only more questions. I too have been suffering form a pain under my left breast that has moves through to my back and up under my shoulder blades. My only relief has been to take pain pills to dull the pain. Last month, I had a CT for something else and while reviewing the CT film with my doctor, he commented that I have an enlarge spleen. That wasn't what he was looking at, so it was just a comment in passing. When I got home I began my own internet investigation. While surfing the web, I keep finding reports that an elarged spleen can cause this pain on your left side up into your shoulder. WHY?????? and what can I do about it???????
