Most back pain is linked to the spine and the spine links to every part of the body, so it's not unusual for a problem or pain in the spinal area to also cause pain or problems in other parts of the body.  A study was done in 2007 to see if there was a common link between back pain and jaw/face pain.  They found there was a significant association between the two.  You can read the abstract of the study at:  "Back pain in relation to musculoskeletal disorders in the jaw-face"

If you continue to have this pain, see your doctor to try and determine what is causing it.
