How many Doctors do I need to see to get the right meds for pain?
Unfortunately, it can take a lot of trial and error to find a doctor who is willing to work with you to find the best treatment for your pain. Have you tried a pain management specialist? what mg of prcoset ? if it is 5/325 7.5 3/325 or 10/325 then maybe you need to ask your doctor for pure oxycodone hcl 5 10 15 20 30 mg I take 15 mg and I am screwed. I can't be operated on because of my lungs my body is all worn out knees hips back and neck. I have three forms of cancer non molignate skin cancer which comes up brown turns black and turns into an open sour. It has to be cut out and sowed up. I can get things done to me that do not require being put to sleep but having a kidney removed because of cancer or having cancer removed from my lungs. so i am just waiting on the grim reaper. You have a nice day good luck and may god bless you. if your a smoker and your young quit I done killed myself!

I take 5mg of oxycodone now, I asked the Dr. 3 times to just give me regular oxycodone because the percocet has acetaminophen in it and recently the FDA had a vote to try and lower the mg of over the counter acetaminophen and prescription pain pills that contain acetaminophen, because high doses of it causes liver damage and death may occur in an overdose. I told the Dr.'s office that and he finally changed it to regular oxycodone hcl 5 mg, but like I said earlier that I need at least 80 mg of the extended release ocycodone! I used to be a heavy heroin addict thats why my tolerance is so high. I used to take suboxone for years too, suboxone is used to block opioid receptors so the person won't have withdrawl symptoms and slows cravings of heroin/opioids. So my tolerance is very high, I guess I just have to work these asshole Dr.'s and over time get what is needed to feel better. Maybe I can get on methadone pills for the pain and for the cravings I still have? I'll see in a week, I'm going to a methadone/suboxone clinic for help, maybe the Dr. will understand and we can come to a compromise to treat both pain and cravings.

The Dr. I went to today told me to do yoga and acupuncture! I just want to smash these morons in the head with a baseball bat! and tell them to do yoga and acupuncture after I bash their brains in!
All they want is a quick buck. I have to buy oxycontin 80mg off the street and they are crazy expensive! I guess I'll keep trying, I don't take no for an answer!
